HOW IT HAPPENED
• Freshman defender
Aryanna Tirado (Pawtucket, R.I.) registered one of the two Anchorwomen chances in the 33rd minute, the Beacons kept the game deadlocked.

• UMB posted five shots on goal and the Anchorwomen put up just two shots on target in the first half as both teams battled to a scoreless, 0-0, tie through first 45 minutes.

• RIC controlled the pace of the second half and had more opportunities, racking up six total shots and keeping UMB on its back foot.

• The Anchorwomen eventually connected by stealing the ball from the visitors off a goal kick, which led to junior forward
Amber Almeida (Sturbridge, Mass.) finding Rezendes open in the six-yard box for the game-sealing goal.

• Almeida (3-4-10) and Rezendes (4-2-10) have both been on tears this season, combining for 20 total points.

Oceanna Orlandi (East Greenwich, R.I.) made seven saves to earn her third shutout and fourth win (4-2) on the season.
