Brookelyn Feola (Riverside, R.I.) notched a team and career-high 11 digs and nine service aces as Rhode Island College shut out Lesley, 3-0, in the second contest of a tri-match hosted by Salem State at Twohig Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC continued their momentum from the Salem State match and utterly dismantled Lesley in the first set as the Anchorwomen made just one error to win, 25-1.

• The Lynx made the second period closer, but it was still the Anchorwomen who would close out the frame on a 7-3 run to win, 25-19, with just one set left to play.

• RIC broke away easily after Lesley continued to make attack errors in the third stanza as the Anchorwomen won, 25-15, and would finish the day without losing a set.

• Junior outside hitter
Sarina Marines (Cranston, R.I.) led the team with seven kills, while senior right side hitter
Bethanie Jean-Philippe (Cranston, R.I.) knocked down six winners.
• Freshman setter
Mackenzie Marcoux (North Smithfield, R.I.) recorded a career-high 15 assists in her collegiate debut.
