• The first half featured a bevy of scoring chances, as both teams put up seven shots.

• The Anchormen came the closest to opening the scoring as junior midfielder
Donovan Battle (Hudson, Mass.) took a touch pass and avoided the keeper in front of the goal, but his open net opportunity was blocked by the Panthers senior defender

• Plymouth State found momentum in the second half, outshooting the Anchormen by five, 9-4, but came up empty on every chance thanks to a pair of clutch saves from Ndoye who clinched the decision (0-0-2).

• The Anchormen picked up their third draw of the season and second straight shutout. It was the first home game for RIC since their season opener on Aug. 29.
