HOW IT HAPPENED
• The first half featured a bevy of scoring chances, as both teams put up seven shots.

• The Anchormen came the closest to opening the scoring as junior midfielder Donovan Battle (Hudson, Mass.) took a touch pass and avoided the keeper in front of the goal, but his open net opportunity was blocked by the Panthers senior defender Nils Skogestig (Saltsjö Boo, Sweden) in the 22nd minute.

• Plymouth State found momentum in the second half, outshooting the Anchormen by five, 9-4, but came up empty on every chance thanks to a pair of clutch saves from Ndoye who clinched the decision (0-0-2).

• Freshman forward Luizandro Sanches (Pawtucket, R.I.) led the club with four shots.

• The Anchormen picked up their third draw of the season and second straight shutout. It was the first home game for RIC since their season opener on Aug. 29.
