Jasper Bruins Slot (Scituate, R.I.) finished first overall as the Rhode Island College men's golf team opened the 2025 season with a first place (four teams) finish at Emmanuel's Saints Invitational played at South Shore Country Club on Wednesday afternoon.

THE BASICS
• RIC finished first (four teams) with a team score of 318 (+30). Emmanuel (330; +12), Lesley (361; +73) and Elms (380; +92) rounded out the field.

• 19 golfers competed at the invite, which was a par-72 and measured 6,270 yards.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Bruins Slot was the medalist with a 71 (-1). It marks the second consecutive season that Bruins Slot has won the Saints Invitational.
