Rindge, N.H.—Sophomore second baseman
Parker Camelo (Bristol, R.I.) went 2-for-5 with a homer, two RBI and a run scored as No. 5 Rhode Island College fell vs. No. 1 Keene State, 7-4, in game seven of the 2025 Little East Baseball Championship played at Franklin Pierce on Friday morning.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The favorites took quick control of the game with a four-run first inning as the Anchormen found themselves in a hole early on.
• RIC accumulated just four hits over the first four innings, giving the Owls another chance to strike with three runs in the bottom half of the fourth.
• The Anchormen found life in the fifth from Camelo as he crushed a two-run homer to bring the deficit to five, 7-2.
• A double from junior left fielder
Daniel Cascio (East Hampton, Conn.) brought in another RIC run in the top of the eighth frame, but the Owls still held the lead, 7-3.
• Lightning and rain caused the game to be suspended and picked up on Friday morning.
• Trailing by four in the top of the ninth, the Anchormen started a two out rally as senior first baseman
Daniel Trzepacz (Mont Vernon, N.H.) roped an RBI double down the first base line to pull the visitors within three before the Owls secured the final out.
