Providence, R.I.—Rhode Island College freshman midfielder Brie Macaruso (Ashaway, R.I.) was named to the Little East Women's Lacrosse Sportsmanship Team for her performance during the 2025 season.
 
She played in 12 games, starting all of them. Macaruso had 22 goals and nine assists for 31 points. She also compiled 36 ground balls, 19 draw controls and 16 caused turnovers. Macaruso scored a career-high five goals and added two assists for a season-best seven points in a 21-15 setback vs. UMass Boston on April 26. She handed out a season-high five assists and picked up a career-best 10 ground balls in a 17-1 win at Purchase on April 6.
 
Head Coach Jessalyn O'Neill's team finished the 2025 season with a 1-11 overall record and an 0-8 mark in the Little East.
