Noah Morin (Smithfield, R.I.) was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player as No. 1 Rhode Island College defeated No. 2 Bridgewater State, 5-1, to claim the Little East Men's Tennis Championship title in the final played at the RIC Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchormen brought home the title for the fifth time in program history and their first since winning four straight crowns from 1992-95.
• RIC will be making the program's first-ever appearance in the NCAA Div. III Men's Tennis Championship.
• Morin went 2-0 at both No. 1 doubles and No. 3 singles in the club's two tournament wins.

Travis Chartier (Rehoboth, Mass.) put the Anchormen in the driver's seat with an 8-4 win at No. 1 doubles.

James McShane (Riverside, R.I.) and
Kyle Neuendorf (Attleboro, Mass.) won, 8-3, at No. 3 doubles to give the hosts a 2-1 advantage heading into singles play.

Ethan Clegg (Chepachet, R.I.) finished first at No. 2 singles in straight sets (6-2, 6-2) and Neuendorf followed with a victory (6-0, 6-1) at No. 6 singles.
• Morin clinched the title with a straight set (6-1, 6-3) win at No. 3 singles.
• RIC, which lost to the Bridgewater State in the 2024 Little East Championship Final, took down the Bears in the two squad's regular season meeting, 6-3, on April 15.
