Providence, R.I.—Rhode Island College capped the regular season with their 10
th straight win and went unblemished (6-0) in the Little East with a 9-0 shutout over Southern Maine on Friday afternoon at the RIC Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC, which claimed a share of the Little East Regular Season Championship and the No.1 seed in the upcoming Little East Championship with an 8-1 win at WestConn on Tuesday, secured sole possession of the conference's regular season title with today's win.
It is the first LEC regular season championship in program history.

Ethan Clegg (Chepachet, R.I.) for an 8-2 win at No. 2 doubles, giving Gouin his program-record 42
nd (42-8) career doubles win, as the hosts opened up a 3-0 lead heading into singles play.
• Clegg set the stage for the win with a (6-2, 6-0) victory at No. 3 singles and freshman
Kyle Neuendorf (Attleboro, Mass.) clinched the match with a shutout (6-0, 6-0) at sixth singles.

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will receive a bye in the first round of the 2025 Little East Championship and host a semifinal match on Thursday, May 1 (3:30 p.m.).
