Abaigael Estano (Goffstown, N.H.) registered a career-high 16 saves and collected a team and career-high six ground balls as Rhode Island College fell vs. Southern Maine, 19-6, in Little East women's lacrosse action played at Alumni Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• It took Southern Maine two and a half minutes to net their first marker as the visitors would go on to dominate the first half and shut out the Anchorwomen, 4-0, heading into the second 15 minutes.

• The Huskies poured in five more goals before freshman midfielder
Brie Macaruso (Ashaway, R.I.) scored the first for the Anchorwomen at the 3:08 mark of the second period.

• Both sides traded goals within the first two minutes of the second half as the hosts trailed by eight, 11-3.

• Less than three minutes later, Macaruso scored off a freshman midfielder
Jaina Yekelchik (North Scituate, R.I.) assist. However, the visitors would close out the third period with four straight goals to head into the final frame ahead, 16-5.

• The Huskies slammed the door on the Anchorwomen in the fourth, allowing just one shot and forcing six turnovers.

Claire Greene (Storrs, Conn.) buried a pair of goals, picked up a pair of grounders and dished out one assist, as well as leading the team in draw controls (seven) and caused turnovers (two).
