Warwick, R.I.--Junior Jasper Bruins Slot (Scituate, R.I.) fired a 75 to tie for third as the Anchormen wrapped up the first round of the 2025 Rhode Island College Spring Invitational in eighth place at Valley Country Club on Friday afternoon.
 
THE BASICS
• RIC registred a 331 (+43) team score to finish eighth (nine teams). Roger Williams is currently in first place with a 310 (+22).
 
• The course was a par-72 and measured 6,508 yards.
 
• 48 golfers competed at the event.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Bruins Slot tied for third with a 75 (+3).
 
• Junior Kyle Cullen (Gloucester, R.I.) is tied for 12^th with a 79 (+7).
 
• Freshman Ryan Farrell (Warren, R.I.) is tied for 27^th with an 84 (+12).
 
• Sophomore Max Nasser (Middletown, R.I.) is 44^th with a 93 (+21).
 
• Senior Khai Delgado (Wareham, Mass.) is 48^th with a 116 (+44).
