Kyle O'Connor (Foster, R.I.) won in three sets at No. 6 singles to help lead Rhode Island College past Norwich, 5-4, at the Shapiro Field House on Thursday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchormen were down, 2-1, heading into singles action with freshman
Travis Chartier (Rehoboth, Mass.) and senior
Andrew Fanning (Smithfield, R.I.) picking up the Anchormen's lone win at No. 1 doubles.
• After a win at No. 4 singles by freshman
Kyle Neuendorf (Attleboro, Mass.), which evened the team score at three apiece, O'Connor got the go-ahead team point with a third set win in a tiebreaker at No. 6 singles.
• Norwich would tie it at four-all with a win at No. 2 singles, but Chartier closed out the Cadets with a three-set tiebreaker victory at No. 1 singles to give the Anchormen their seventh consecutive win.
