Travis Chartier (Rehoboth, Mass.) each swept their singles matches in straight sets to go along with a doubles victory as Rhode Island College defeated Bridgewater State, 6-3, at the RIC Tennis Center on Tuesday afternoon.

Ethan Clegg (Chepachet, R.I.) for an 8-3 win at No. 2 doubles. to help the hosts build a 2-1 lead after pairs action.
• Gouin won (6-0, 6-1) at fourth singles and Chartier followed with a straight set (6-2, 6-1) victory at No. 2 singles.
• Clegg clinched the win with a (6-3, 6-1) win at No. 3 singles.
