Wenham, Mass.--Senior first baseman Daniel Trzepacz (Mont Vernon, N.H.) went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored as Rhode Island College fell, 6-3, vs. Gordon at J. Tec White Field on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Both teams were even for the first three innings before the visitors broke the game open with a pair of sacrifice flies in the fourth by junior designated hitter Josh Lincourt (North Kingstown, R.I.) and freshman outfielder George Threats (Cranston, R.I.).
 
• The Fighting Scots were quick to answer in the home half of the fourth frame as a pair of runs scored on an Anchormen fielding error to tie it, 2-2.
 
• The hosts committed an error during the fifth, which brought Trzepacz to the plate, as RIC took the lead again, 3-2.
 
• However, a bases-clearing double in the sixth stanza gave Gordon the outright lead for the first time all game, 5-3.
 
• The Anchormen would concede again, off an RBI single, to give the Fighting Scots a three-run, 6-3, lead.

• Sophomore reliever Jake Foster (Lincoln, R.I.) took the loss (1-2).
