HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Owls, who had already wrapped up their third consecutive Little East Regular Season Championship and the top-seed in the upcoming Little East Championship, had previously beaten RIC, 101-87, on Jan. 18.

• RIC held its Senior Day Ceremony prior to the game as Kourouma, senior guard
Deyshawn Tengbeh (East Providence, R.I.) and sophomore guard
Rasheed Louis (Cranston, R.I.), who is graduating early, were all recognized along with their families.

• RIC built a game-best 12-point, 33-21, advantage, with 4:38 left to play in the first half before the Owls fought their way back to trail by four, 37-33, at halftime.

• KSC tied the contest, 58-58,with 6:28 left in the game and went ahead by three, 66-63, with 1:41 left.

• Kourouma muscled in a layup and Robinson-O'Hagan nailed a floater with 16 seconds left to stake the hosts to a 67-66 lead.

• Kourouma blocked a potential game-winning three-pointer with two seconds left to preserve the win. He finished with 15 points, 22 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal.

• Robinson-O'Hagan contributed 12 points, eight boards, two assists and a block.

In upcoming action, No. 3-seeded Rhode Island College will host No. 6-seeded UMass Dartmouth in first round action of the 2025 Little East Men's Basketball Championship on Tuesday, Feb. 25 (7 p.m.).
