Angelina Nardolillo (Hinsdale, N.H.) racked up 21 points, 13 rebounds, three steals and a pair of blocks as Rhode Island College crushed VTSU Castleton, 91-66, in Little East action played at The Murray Center on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC's, 12-2, run five minutes into the first quarter gave the hosts an early eight-point lead, 15-7.

• Nardolillo's eight points in the first quarter gave the Anchorwomen a 12-point, 26-14, cushion going into the next frame.

• In the second quarter, freshman guard
Shalyn Smith (Middletown, Conn.) capitalized with a layup off a fastbreak steal by senior guard
Madison Medbury (Scituate, R.I.) to push the Anchorwomen's lead up to 16, 30-14.

• RIC closed out the first 20 minutes on top, 46-29, thanks to 14 points and nine rebounds from Nardolillo.

• Medbury opened the second half by scoring 16 points in the third quarter to increase RIC's lead to 34, 73-39, going into the final stanza.

• VTSU Castleton's 27-point fourth quarter was not enough to propel a comeback as the Anchorwomen cruised to their fifth consecutive Little East victory.
