HOW IT HAPPENED
• Kamara got the scoring started for RIC by banging home a pass from freshman midfielder Nathan Capelo (Rumford, R.I.) in the fourth minute.

• In the 44th minute and right before halftime, sophomore midfielder Joseph Flood (Westerly, R.I.) netted his first career goal with what would prove to be the game-winner.

• Kamara would then seal the deal with the host's third goal in the 55th minute to add insurance. It was Kamara's team-leading fourth goal and senior midfielder Anthony Recinos (Providence, R.I.) recorded his team-leading seventh assist on the play.

• With the Anchormen's bench on the field, Nichols sophomore defender Shawn Jakob Aquino (Mons, Belgium) spoiled the shutout bid with a goal in the 85th minute.

• RIC sophomore goalkeeper Elhadji Ndoye (Cranston, R.I.) stopped six shots to record his second win (2-0) of the season.

• With the win, Rhode Island College is unbeaten in its last six games and has strung together five consecutive wins.
