• Junior defender
Maggie Schwab (Saunderstown, R.I.) got the offense started for RIC just 3:12 into the opening frame as she scored her second goal of the season to break the ice.

• Freshman attacker
Sophie DeFlitch (Hummelstown, Pa.) would score twice in the first quarter to help give the Anchorwomen a 3-1 lead after 15 minutes of play.

• RIC would outscore the Panthers, 6-0, in the second quarter, which included two goals by sophomore attacker
Claire Greene (Storrs, Conn.), to extend the club's lead to 9-1 going into halftime.

• The Anchorwomen defense would hold strong in the second half, allowing just two additional goals from Purchase over the remainder of the game.
