Castleton, Vt.—Sophomore Noah Morin (Smithfield, R.I.) won his third straight match at No. 1 singles as Rhode Island College downed VTSU Castleton, 9-0, in Little East action played indoors at Vermont Sport and Fitness on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC rolled past the Spartans in doubles action, winning all three contests. Seniors Josh Brien (Johnston, R.I.) and Jack Cadden (Mattapoisett, Mass.) earned an 8-0 shutout win at No. 1 doubles.
 
• RIC took all six singles matches with junior Andrew Fanning (Smithfield, R.I.) securing a straight set (6-0, 6-0) win at No. 6.
 
• Brien won in straight sets (6-3, 6-2) at No. 2 singles to clinch the win.
