RIC Falls to Warriors in Little East Action

Willimantic, Conn.--Junior defender Maggie Schwab (Saunderstown, R.I.) scored her fourth goal of the season as the Rhode Island College women's lacrosse team lost at Eastern Connecticut, 19-2, on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Eastern Connecticut kept Rhode Island College off the scoreboard in the first half, building a 9-0 advantage after 30 minutes of play.
 
• The Anchorwomen would score both goals in the third quarter, with Schwab and sophomore attacker Claire Greene (Storrs, Conn.) tallying for the visitors.
 
• Greene recorded a game-high five draw controls.
 
• Freshman goalkeeper Giana Franco (Salem, Conn.) made a career-high 21 saves and led the squad with seven ground balls.
