Providence, R.I.--Junior Zach Seimmao (Wakefield, R.I.) won in straight sets at No. 5 singles to clinch a 7-2 win for Rhode Island College vs. Salem Sate in Little East action played at the RIC Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon.

• RIC led, 2-1, after doubles play. Siemmao and senior Peter Pond (Providence, R.I.) won, 8-3, at third doubles.
 
• Junior Andrew Fanning (Smithfield, R.I.) earned a shutout (6-0, 6-0) at No. 6 singles and senior Jack Cadden (Mattapoisett, Mass.) won (6-2, 6-1) to set the stage for Siemmao's match-clincher.
