Elijah Gouin (Glocester, R.I.) opened the day's action by pitching an 8-0 shutout at No. 2 singles as the hosts swept all three contests in pairs action.
• Junior
Andrew Fanning (Smithfield, R.I.) won (6-0, 6-2) at sixth singles and Morin clinched the win with a near shutout (6-0, 6-1) at No. 1 singles.
