Fort Myers, Fla.—Senior shortstop Izaiah Rivera (Pawtucket, R.I.) went 3-for-4 with a run scored, two RBI and a homer as Rhode Island College fell, 10-6, vs. Ohio Wesleyan at the Gene Cusic Classic on Monday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC trailed, 2-1, after two following freshman second baseman Parker Camelo's (Bristol, R.I.) RBI single in the frame.
 
• Ohio Wesleyan plated three runs in the third, two in the fourth and another three in the fifth to build a commanding, 10-1, lead.
 
• Rivera hit a two-run bomb in the sixth, while senior right fielder Sean Helfrich (Saunderstown, R.I.) blasted a solo shot and senior designated hitter Cole Podedworny (Wakefield, R.I.) registered an RBI single in the seventh, but the Anchormen would not be able to close the gap.
 
• Freshman starter Kolbie Stellpflug (Whitehouse Station, N.J.) took the loss (0-1).
 
• Camelo went 3-for-5 with an RBI. Helfrich scored three runs.
