• Both offenses struggled early, with both teams shooting a combined 7-for-26 over the first 10 minutes of the contest, as WestConn would hold a 13-8 lead.

Mike Paquette (Cranston, R.I.) would give the Anchormen a 20-18 lead with 3:03 remaining in the first half.

• The host's offense sputtered out over the latter stage of the game, as the Anchormen would be held scoreless over the final 5:57. The Wolves capitalized on their free throws late to clinch the win.
