Jumbos' Late Run Downs Anchorwomen, 62-47

Medford, Mass.--Senior forward Angelina Nardolillo (Hinsdale, N.H.) notched a double-double with 17 points and 16 rebounds, while racking up a career-high six blocks, as Rhode Island College fell vs. Tufts, 62-47, at Cousens Gymnasium and Tye Court on Sunday afternoon.

THE BASICS
Tufts 62, Rhode Island College 47
Tufts (4-2)
Rhode Island College (3-3)

HOW IT HAPPENED
• After a tightly contested first half, the hosts were able to hang on to a narrow five-point lead, 35-30.

• RIC would surge back to take the lead by one, 40-39, in the third frame thanks to a triple by sophomore forward Emma Tenters (Jaffrey, N.H.).

• However, a Tufts, 9-2, run to begin the final quarter was too much for the Anchorwomen to overcome as the Jumbos outscored the visitors, 19-7, to snap a two-game losing streak.

• Nardolillo's six blocks were the most in a single game for her career as she tallied her third double-double of the season.

• Senior guard Madison Medbury (Scituate, R.I.) scored 10 points, secured 9 rebounds, dished out five assists and collected five steals for the game.
