Bridgewater, Mass.—Fifth-year forward
Ousmane Kourouma (Woonsocket, R.I) scored 32 points and hauled down 16 rebounds as Rhode Island College defeated Bridgewater State, 93-91, at the Tinsley Center on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• A quick pair of buckets by senior guard
Deyshawn Tengbeh (East Providence, R.I) had RIC leading by nine, 23-14, eight minutes into the first half.
• After leading by 15 points, 35-20, with seven minutes left in the first half, the Bears started to creep back after a pair of turnovers by the Anchormen.
• However, the visitors would remain on top and led at the break by seven, 47-40.
• RIC built a 14-point lead, 66-52, seven minutes into the second half, thanks to another Tengbeh layup off of a Kourouma assist.
• The hosts made a valiant effort at a comeback and cut the deficit down to two, 89-87, but RIC's lead proved to be too much to overcome in the end as the Anchormen hit clutch free throws to even their record, 3-3, on the season.
• Senior guard
Dwayne Robinson-O'Hagan (Woonsocket, R.I.) dropped in 19 points to help pace the offense.
• Tengbeh finished with 13 points, five rebounds and five assists.
