HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC battled back from a three-point deficit, 22-19, in the opening set to tie the frame and eventually force overtime. With the stanza tied, 24-all, a kill by Eastern Connecticut first-year hitter
Emma Robinson (Westlake Village, Calif.) and an Anchorwoman attack error propelled the Warriors to the win.

• The Warriors climbed back to pull within one, 23-22, but a service error and an attack error helped the Anchorwomen even the contest at 1-1 with a 25-23 win in the second set.

• RIC kept the momentum and dominated Eastern Connecticut with a convincing, 25-12, win in the third set. A junior middle hitter
Andrayah Williams (North Providence, R.I.) kill put the final stamp on the frame.

• Eastern turned the tables on the Anchorwomen with a 25-18 decision in the fourth set, sending the hosts to a decisive fifth set for just the second time this fall.

• With the fifth set tied, 12-12, a kill by ECSU senior hitter
Bella Johnson (Marlborough, Conn.) and two, including the game-winner, by junior hitter
Taylor Thompson (West Point, N.Y.) helped the visitors complete the comeback and win the match with a 15-13 victory.

Olivia Rollinson (Coventry, R.I.) totaled 11 kills. Sophomore setter
Yuleisy Alvelo (San Juan, Puerto Rico) registered a season-high 44 assists and 15 digs. Sophomore defensive specialist
Marina Colonis (Waterford, Conn.) led the club with a season-high 23 digs.
