Danbury, Conn.—Fifth-year forward
Izabelle Booth (Newport, R.I.) recorded a game-high 18 points to go along with seven rebounds and three steals as No. 3 Rhode Island College won at Western Connecticut, 74-33, in a Little East women's basketball contest played at Feldman Arena on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchorwomen relied on their paint presence to start the game. Eighteen of RIC's 22 first-quarter points came on layups as the Anchorwomen led, 22-6, after the first 10 minutes of play.
• The whole team got involved offensively, with Booth and graduate student guard
Sophia Guerrier (Waltham, Mass.) each scoring eight points in the first half, to give RIC a 40-21 lead at the midway point.
• Booth would double her point total in the third quarter as the Anchorwomen defense held the Wolves to just four points to take a commanding, 60-25, lead.
• RIC would close out the fourth quarter, 14-8, to secure its 15
th straight win.
• Guerrier finished with 10 points, three boards and a trio of steals in 19 minutes. Fifth-year center
Neleesha Meunier (Leominster, Mass.) had 10 points, eight rebounds and two steals in 13 minutes.
