HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchormen faced a flurry of shots within first the 10 minutes from the likes of sophomore forward Tristan Phillips (Rasedale, N.Y.) and junior forward William Pugliese-Savage (Millbury, Mass.).

• RIC junior goalkeeper Wesley Perrotto (Pembroke, Mass.) was up for the task, stopping all four shots that came his way in the first 45 minutes.

• The game was scoreless at halftime. The Bison held the lead in shots, 12-5, after the opening 45 minutes.

• The scoring finally kicked off in the 63rd minute when Pugliese-Savage was awarded a penalty kick, which he slipped it into the lower right portion of the goal, to give the Bison a 1-0 lead.

• Just over two minutes later, Oliveira raced down the left side past multiple defenders and chipped a shot over sophomore goalkeeper Derek Axon (Foxboro, Mass.) to tie the game at one apiece.

• In the 86th minute, freshman forward Cody Granville (Wakefield, R.I.) was fouled in the goalie box and awarded a penalty kick, which Oliveira successfully converted, to give the Anchormen a late 2-1 lead.
