Zach Siemmao (Wakefield, R.I.) was victorious in straight sets (6-0, 6-1) at No. 5 singles to clinch a 6-3 win for the Rhode Island College men's tennis team vs. Salve Regina in the season-opener for both clubs at the RIC Tennis Complex on Wednesday afternoon.

• Fanning blanked his opponent (6-0, 6-0) at No. 6 singles, Siemmao won to clinch the victory and junior
Elijah Gouin (Glocester, R.I.) won (6-2, 6-3) at No. four singles.
• The Seahawks took the top three singles matches.
