Providence, R.I.--Sophomore Li hsiu Hou (Kingston, R.I.) secured a straight set (6-1, 6-0) win at No. 5 singles as the Rhode Island College women's tennis team defeated Clark, 7-2, at the RIC Tennis Center on Thursday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchorwomen won two out of three in doubles action, with junior Amara Devine (Greenville, R.I.) and senior Amiah Sommer (Cumberland, R.I.) securing their matchup, 8-7, through a tiebreaker at the top spot.
 
• Senior Anna Vygoder (Lincoln, R.I.) clinched the win with a (6-4, 6-2) victory at No. 3 singles.
 
• Freshman Lauren Bilodeau (Westfield, Mass.) won at No. 6 singles (6-0, 4-3) and No. 3 doubles (8-3).
 
• It was the third consecutive victory for the club.
