Amiah Sommer (Cumberland, R.I.) won in straight sets at No. 3 singles to clinch a 9-0 win for Rhode Island College in a Little East matchup with Plymouth State on Tuesday afternoon at the RIC Tennis Center.

Erica Botelho (Greenville, R.I.) improved to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the LEC with an 8-2 win at No. 1 doubles.

Anna Vygoder (Lincoln, R.I.) won in straight sets (6-0, 6-2) at No. 4 singles to set the stage for Sommer's clincher (6-0, 6-3) at third singles.
