Boston, Mass.--Sophomore Noah Morin (Smithfield, R.I.) won a hard-fought, two-set match at No. 2 singles as Rhode Island College defeated UMass Boston, 6-3, in Little East men's tennis action played at the B.C. High Tennis Courts on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC took two of three in doubles action, with Morin and classmate Elijah Gouin (Glocester, R.I.) securing an 8-5 win at the second spot.
 
• The visitors took four of six in singles action, with Morin winning a tough match, 6-1, 7-6 (7-5), at No. 2 singles to clinch the win for the Anchormen.
 
• Gouin won at No. 4 singles with a shutout (6-0, 6-0).
 
• RIC has won its last four matches.
