Noah Morin (Smithfield, R.I.) picked up a pair of wins as the Rhode Island College men's tennis team defeated Wentworth, 6-3, to open the spring portion of their schedule at the RIC Tennis Center on Thursday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC took care of business at No. 2 and 3 doubles, but Wentworth came back and won at the top spot, to give the Anchormen the advantage, 2-1, heading into singles play.

• RIC was able to clinch the match after a quick wins from Morin at No. 2 singles and sophomore
Zach Siemmao (Wakefield, R.I.) at No. 5 singles and sophomore
Andrew Fanning (Greenville, R.I.) delivering the winning blow at No. 6 singles shortly thereafter.

• This win for the Anchormen avenges a loss at the hands of the Leopards, 6-3, in the club's season-opener back on Sept. 28.
