HOW IT HAPPENED
• Freshman outside hitter
Sarina Marines (Cranston, R.I.) recorded six kills in the first set, but it was not enough as the Owls took the frame by four, 25-21.

• Normandin tallied three aces in the second frame, including two in consecutive fashion. However, the Owls were once again able to snatch a victory from the Anchorwomen with a 25-20 decision.

• A 7-1 run from Keene would propel the Owls to a straight set triumph as they won the third stanza by six, 25-19.

• Marines knocked down 11 kills and only had one error in 32 attempts. Freshman defensive specialist
Marina Colonis (Waterford, Conn.) posted a team-high 14 digs.
