Danbury, Conn.—Junior outside hitter
Rhiannon Hodovanec (Feeding Hills, Mass.) totaled a team-best five kills to go along with seven digs as Rhode Island College fell at Western Connecticut, 3-0, in Little East women's volleyball action played in Feldman Arena on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The hosts dominated the first set with a convincing, 25-7, win.
• The Anchorwomen held a 15-14 advantage in the second set following a kill by freshman outside hitter
Sarina Marines (Cranston, R.I.). The hosts went on a 7-0 run to take a 21-15 lead and eventually win by six, 25-17.
• WestConn won the third set, 25-11, to complete the sweep.
• The Wolves wrapped up third place in the upcoming 2023 Little East Women's Volleyball Championship in the win.
