HOW IT HAPPENED
• The first set was neck-and-neck until the very end. Despite three kills from Marines, the Huskies took the frame by a pair, 26-24.

• The Anchorwomen found themselves down, 6-1, early in the second stage, but went on a 7-2 run to tie it up, 8-8. The two sides then exchanged blows and were eventually tied at 23-23. A kill from junior middle blocker
Megan Philbrick (Johnston, R.I.) lifted RIC to a 25-23 victory.

• In the third, RIC was leading, 20-14. Two consecutive service aces by USM freshman right side hitter
Cassidy Weiher (Aurora, Colo.) brought the hosts within one, but an ensuing service error gave the set to the Anchorwomen, 25-23.

• The Anchorwomen went on a 6-1 run in the fourth frame to clinch the win, 25-20, thanks in part to kills from Marines and freshman setter
