HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchorwomen were coming off a 3-1 Little East win over Southern Maine in their first match of the afternoon.
• Despite trailing, 24-17, in the first set, RIC climbed back to within three, 24-21, before MMA notched the clinching point.
• RIC trailed by three, 14-11, in the second stanza before the Mariners went on an 11-5 run to go up by two sets.
• The Anchorwomen led, 17-16, in the third frame until MMA outscored RIC, 9-3, down the stretch to complete the sweep.

Sarina Marines (Cranston, R.I.) and Hodovanec led RIC offensively with eight and seven kills, respectively.
