HOW IT HAPPENED
• Both teams had just two points through the first three minutes of play until a layup from senior guard Jeniyah Jones (Randolph, Mass.) sparked a small run that ended with RIC going up by six, 8-2, with six minutes left in the first quarter. RIC would expand its lead to nine points as they went into the first break with a 16-7 lead.

• RIC held Emerson to just seven points for about seven full minutes of game action, and almost doubled up the Lions going into the half up by 13, 29-16.

• The Anchorwomen went up 20 points, 44-24, when sophomore guard Dejah Middleton (New Haven, Conn.) hit a jumper with three minutes left in the third quarter. From there, RIC cruised to its 11tt straight victory.

• It was a complete team effort for the Anchorwomen as every player who saw action converted at least one field goal. Sophomore guard Madison Medbury (Scituate, R.I.)  led the way with 10 points, while sophomore forward Angelina Nardolillo (Hinsdale, N.H.) had seven rebounds and three steals.
