Madison Medbury (Scituate, R.I.) notched a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds as the Rhode Island College women's basketball team rolled to a 75-35 victory at Little East foe Southern Maine on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• With the victory, Rhode Island College Head Women's Basketball Coach
Jenna Cosgrove earned her 100th career win (100-39).

• RIC stymied the Huskies in the first quarter, outscoring the hosts 13-3, and only allowed one field goal.

• The second quarter was much of the same, with the Anchorwomen putting up 23 points in the quarter alone, as the visitors went into halftime up by 23, 36-13.

• RIC was able to cruise to the victory, keeping its perfect conference record intact, while elevating its winning streak to 16 games.

• Medbury also dished out five assists on the day.

Angelina Nardolillo (Hinsdale, N.H.) led all scorers with 20 points, while senior guard
Jeniyah Jones (Randolph, Mass.) (17 points, seven rebounds, five assists, three steals) and classmate forward
Izabelle Booth (Newport, R.I.) (12 points, 12 rebounds) had great performances as well.
