Providence, R.I.--Four Anchorwomen scored over 12 points as the Rhode Island College women's basketball team took down Castleton, 63-52, in Little East action played at The Murray Center on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Castleton took a three-point, 14-11, lead into the second quarter after nine straight points by senior forward
Gwyn Tatton (Rehoboth, Mass.). It marked just the fourth time all season that the Anchorwomen went into the second quarter trailing.

• RIC and CU traded leads back and forth until senior guard
Elise Magro (Rutland, Vt.) hit a shot at the buzzer to take a one-point, 28-27, advantage into halftime.

• RIC took the lead back late into the third quarter after senior guard
Antonia Corsinetti (Johnston, R.I.) knocked down a three-point shot with 57 seconds remaining in the quarter to put the hosts on top, 45-43.

• With less than a minute gone in the fourth, Magro knocked down a jumper for her 17
th point of the game and the 1,000th of her career.

• Castleton was unable to regain the lead, as the hosts outscored the visitors, 16-9, in the quarter, as RIC walked away with its 15
th straight victory.

• Senior forward
Izabelle Booth (Newport, R.I.) led the Anchorwomen with 15 points. She also recorded nine rebounds, two assists and two blocks.

• Sophomore forward
Angelina Nardolillo (Hinsdale, N.H.) posted a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while sophomore guard
Madison Medbury (Scituate, R.I.) pulled down a career-high 13 boards.

• Magro led the Spartans with 17 points and six assists.
