HOW IT HAPPENED
• With the first half drawing to a close, the Pride struck gold in the 42
nd minute when junior defender
Sam Perkins (Whitman, Mass.) scored on a pass from senior midfielder
Hailey Lovell (Wakefield, Mass.).

• The hosts led, 1-0, at halftime and outshot the Anchorwomen, 12-3.

• RIC got the ball rolling early in the second half, answering Regis' goal with one of its own. Cary buried her first career goal into the back of the net with help from sophomore forward
Riley Specht (Lincoln, R.I.).

• Regis had some opportunities late to register the go-ahead marker, but came up short and the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

• The Pride ended the game with a heavy shot advantage, 25-8.

• RIC once again had its goalkeepers split time, with senior
Maya Benedict (Tempe, Ariz.) getting the start and stopping five shots. Freshman
Kelly Graziano (Johnston, R.I.) came on in the second half and made three saves in 45 minutes to earn the tie (0-0-1).
