Westfield, Mass.--Junior Anthony Loiselle (Providence, R.I.) was the medalist, finishing first overall with a 78 (+7) as Rhode Island College finished first (four teams) at Westfield State's Spring Invitational, played at Tekoa Country Club on Tuesday afternoon.
 
THE BASICS
• The event was held at Tekoa Country Club, which was a par 71.

• Westfield State was second (330; +46), Albertus Magnus was third (341; +57) and Worcester State placed fourth (363; +79)

• Freshman David Liao (Hilton Head, S.C.) tied for third with an 80 (+9).
 
• Junior Will Niles (Warwick, R.I.) finished tied for fifth with an 81 (+10).
 
• Freshman Shane Mello (Somerset, Mass.) tied for 14^th with an 89 (+18).
 
• Junior Nate Chhim (Tiverton, R.I.) finished 17^th with a 90 (+19).
