Elijah Gouin (Glocester, R.I.) each won in both singles and doubles action as Rhode Island College downed Salve Regina, 6-3, at the RIC Tennis Center on Thursday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchormen improved to 11-1 on the season in doubles action by sweeping each of the three pairs' contests to take a 3-0 lead.
• Junior
Dylan Tashdjian (Riverside, R.I.) put RIC within one point of clinching with a straight set (6-1, 6-1) victory at No. 6 singles.
• The Seahawks pulled within two, 4-2, with victories at No. 2 and 1 singles, respectively, before Morin clinched the win with a straight set (6-2, 6-3) decision at No. 3 singles.
• Gouin won (6-3, 7-5) at No. 4 singles.
