Izaiah Rivera (Pawtucket, R.I.) blasted a home run as the Rhode Island College baseball team saw their six-game unbeaten streak come to an end with an, 11-2, loss vs. Salve Regina at Pontarelli Field on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Salve jumped out to an early, 3-0, lead when junior left fielder
Matt D'Amato (Midland Park, N.J.) roped a double in the second inning, which was followed by two more SRU RBI doubles in the third.

• The Seahawks then added three more runs due to RIC miscues in the fifth inning to expand their lead to 6-0.

• Rivera got one run back with his solo shot that sailed over the right field fence in the fifth, which cut the visitor's lead to 6-1.

• The Seahawks tacked on five more runs over the last three innings to win for the third time in their last four games.
