Dartmouth, Mass.-Senior center Willcia McBorrough (Providence, R.I.) matched a season-high with12 points as the Rhode Island College women's basketball team defeated UMass Dartmouth, 61-54, to clinch at least a share of the Little East Regular Season Championship on Tuesday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• UMass quickly found itself up by six, 10-4, just 3:30 into the game thanks to seven quick points by senior guard Jordan Moretti (Johnston, R.I.). The two teams would be knotted at 27 by the time the first half concluded.
• RIC would dominate the third quarter, outscoring the Corsairs, 19-10, and headed into the final stanza up by nine points, 46-37. Â
• The hosts would chip the Anchorwomen lead down to just four, 54-50, with three minutes remaining in regulation after a Moretti free throw. The Anchorwomen would hit their free throws down the stretch and hang on to win, 61-54. Â
• With the victory, the Anchorwomen have clinched at least a share of the Little East Regular Season Championship. RIC can claim the outright title with a win on Saturday against Plymouth State, or an Eastern Connecticut loss on Wednesday vs. Western Connecticut State. Â
• McBorrough scored six of her 12 points in the fourth quarter. Â
• Junior guard Jeniyah Jones (Randolph, Mass.) netted 10 points, six rebounds and two assists. Â
• Sophomore guard Ashanti Frazier (Newington, Conn.) had five points, four assists and a game-high nine rebounds.

• UMD's Moretti paced all scorers with her 18 points. She added six rebounds, six assists and three steals.Â
