HOW IT HAPPENED

• RIC slowly saw its lead climb, and with 54 seconds left in the first half, sophomore guard Dejah Middleton (New Haven, Conn.) hit a free throw to give the hosts an 18-point, 31-13, advantage. It was their largest of the first half.

• Nardolillo heated up in the second half, getting six of her 16 points in the third quarter alone. RIC headed into the fourth quarter up by 23, 48-25.

• Nardolillo racked up another eight points in the final frame to cement the victory for the Anchorwomen. She finished with 16 points and 11 rebounds, both of which were game-highs. She also blocked three shots.

• Senior forward Izabelle Booth (Newport, R.I.) kept her hot start to the season going with 16 points to go along with seven rebounds.

• USM junior guard Amy Fleming (Berwick, Maine) was the only Husky to reach double-digits, with most of her 10 points coming in garbage time.

• The Anchorwomen are riding a five-game winning streak and are now 41-4 in regular season conference action since 2019-20.
