Angelina Nardolillo (Hinsdale, N.H.) played her best game of the 2022-23 season with 21 points and 11 rebounds as the Rhode Island College women's basketball team defeated Wesleyan, 72-43, at The Murray Center on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC opened the game up on a 13-0 run, highlighted by six points from senior forward
Izabelle Booth (Newport, R.I.). Wesleyan didn't score until the 3:43 mark when freshman guard
Olivia Quinn (Franklin, Mass.) converted a layup.

• Nardolillo hit a layup to end the first half, giving the Anchorwomen a 22-point, 44-22, lead going into the break.

• RIC started the second half on a 7-0 run to push its lead to nearly 30 points and the Anchorwomen never looked back from there. The Anchorwomen held Wesleyan to a very comfortable distance for the remainder of the game.

• Nardolillo added three assists, two blocks and a pair of steals to her double-double.

• Booth had a double-double as well with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
