Bears Defeat Men's Basketball, 96-72

Bridgewater, Mass.--Junior forward Kalu Uga (Hyde Park, Mass.) scored 10 points and knocked down a pair of three-pointers as the Rhode Island C0llege men's basketball team fell at Bridgewater State, 96-72, on Tuesday evening at the Tinsley Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The game stayed very close until BSU took a 10 point, 33-23, lead with 6:29 left in the first half. From that mark on, the game was completely in the Bears' control as the hosts built a 23-point, 52-29, at halftime.
 
• Uga scored five quick points out of the break, but it was too little too late as the host kept a 20-point lead through most of the game.
 
• Uga finished with 10 points, six rebounds and three assists in the loss.
 
• Junior center Ousmane Kourouma (Woonsocket, R.I.) posted another double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds, which were both the top marks for RIC on the night.
 
• Junior forward Mitchel Noresca (East Providence, R.I.) registered a double-double off of the bench with 14 points and 10 boards in 25 minutes.
 
• Five BSU student-athletes finished in double-figures scoring, led by senior guard Precious Okoh (Brockton, Mass.).
 
WHAT'S NEXT
In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will host Mitchell on Tuesday, Nov. 29 (7 p.m.).
