Izabelle Booth (Newport, R.I.) scored a season-high 22 points and pulled down 10 rebounds as the Rhode Island College women's basketball team defeated Endicott, 66-47, at The Murray Center on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchorwomen had a strong first quarter, edging Endicott, 21-8, over the first 10 minutes. Booth scored nine for her eventual 22 points in the frame.

• Endicott cut the deficit down to 10 points, 24-14, after senior guard
Tara Laugeni (Woodbridge, Conn.) hit a layup at the 6:44 mark. RIC would outpace the Gulls, 12-6, for the remainder of the quarter and head into halftime up by 16, 36-20.

• Coming out of the half, Endicott went on an 11-2 run to pull within 12, 43-31. RIC responded and powered past the Gulls, leading 50-31 into the final quarter and keeping the Gulls at bay for the remainder of the contest.

• Booth registered a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds.

Antonia Corsinetti (Johnston, R.I.) chipped in with 12 points to go along with four rebounds and four assists.

• Laugeni led the charge for the visitors with 10 points and 10 rebounds, while also contributing three steals.
