Women's Soccer Ends 2022 Campaign in, 2-0, Loss at Keene State

Keene, N.H.--Senior goalkeeper Maya Benedict (Tempe, Ariz.) made 10 saves as the Rhode Island College women's soccer team ended the 2022 season with a 2-0 loss at Keene State on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• KSU senior midfielder Amanda Marshall (Bow, N.H.) got the Owls on the board in the 13th minute after getting the feed from her sister, classmate Kayleigh Marshall (Bow, N.H.).
 
• In the 60th minute, the Owls struck again, when Amanda Marshall set up an important insurance goal as Riley Devine (Salem, N.H.) put the hosts up by two, 2-0.
 
• Benedict made 10 saves in the loss (2-10-1).
 
• RIC freshman forward Olivia Williams (Riverside, R.I.) peppered the net tonight, registering four shots on net.
 
• KSU freshman goalkeeper Sonia Moritz (Silver Spring, Md.) stopped five shots to pick up her fifth win (5-3-1).
